'Thrower's ten': 10 shoulder exercises for pitchers

If you want to build and maintain rotator-cuff strength throughout the baseball season, you've got to work the shoulder. Throwing a baseball alone isn't enough. That's why smart pitchers do extra shoulder work using surgical/elastic tubing/bands or lightweight dumbbells -- or a combo of both.

The American Sports Medicine Institute (ASMI) has put together an exercise program for pitchers called the "Thrower's Ten." It contains the 10 exercises that can help you build a strong and healthy throwing shoulder and rotator cuff.
